You can learn anything. I have done it, seen people doing it, and I believe what I am proposing here is the best and only way to learn anything moving forward.
Over the years of going through life and education, from middle school to college, there is one realization that I have come to agree with: I do not think what we know so far about how to learn is the only way to learn, probably not the most efficient. Therefore, let’s break down a quick framework on how people should approach learning in 2025 and beyond.
Teaching yourself is the way to go. Everyone must adopt this. Just one day, pick up a skill you want to learn or teach yourself. Start working on it. I mean actually working on it. Don’t look for a tutorial first. Just you, zero pre-thoughts, and maybe the tools or equipment you need for that specific skill.
Every time you come across an obstacle or something you don’t understand, simply look it up. That is the whole recipe. I would say YouTube is my go-to place for this, as its content is solely user-generated, more relatable, and free, and you are likely to find whatever you are looking for. Other places like social media, Google, or articles work as well. Then, you go back and forth with that process. With dedication and perseverance, you end up finishing the given project and learn that skill along the way, the right way.
This is when you can deduce the two core points of this whole approach: dedication and repetition. Above, I tried to portray the entire process in a more practical way, but it really boils down to the two points. You have to seriously want it; that is needed to keep you moving and get through the tough times. Then repetition is there to make sure you are getting better every day and track back on your progress.
When you do it over and over again, you start to see how you are getting better and better. Your version 1 and version 10 are continents apart, and that is the sauce. That is how all the greats did it and continue to do it.
After using this approach for a couple of projects and seeing its results, I came to believe that this is the optimal and the only way to learn anything. You don’t need a teacher or to sit in a classroom. This applies to anything regardless of the skill type. Okay, because I don’t have enough data to support my claim, I can confidently say this works for anything that involves creativity and practicals. That’s my only disclaimer so far.
The principle is not to pay for that course. Any course is a scam, yes, I said it. I can go further to say that you are more likely not to finish the 6-hour video course or read a 360-page tutorial book, and if you do, it will either take you a very long time to get the same expertise, or most of the things you learned will be forgotten by the end of it. That’s it for my free gold giveaway this week.
